AFX Title Search FAQs

Q. Do you service all 50 States?
A. Yes. AFX provides title reports in all 50 States and Puerto Rico.

Q. How are your reports delivered?
A. Standard delivery is as a PDF attachment to an email. However, some of our larger clients prefer that we upload the completed reports via FTP directly to their servers.

Q. What is your standard turnaround time?
A. Turnaround time can vary depending on the product ordered and location of the property. Standard turnaround time for a Current Owner Search or Environmental Lien report is 3 business days or less. Chain of Title reports are generally completed within 5 business days.

Q. How do we place an order?
A. AFX will create a custom portal for all of our Corporate or Government clients. You will be able to place orders, check status on research that is in progress, or review completed reports. Please contact our Customer Relations Team to set up your custom portal at 1-877-848-5337.

Q. Do you provide Customer Service to review completed reports?
A. Yes. Each of our clients are assigned a Client Relationship Manager (CRM). Their CRM is available to answer any questions on completed reports. They are also able to provide quotes on bulk/portfolio projects or ensure expedite/rush services, when necessary.

Q. Is AFX equipped to handle Government Contracting?
A. Yes. AFX has been providing title research to government agencies since 2007. AFX is set up in both the SAM.gov and IPP.gov systems. We have standardized pricing nationwide for all of our government clients.

Q. How long will clients have access to reports?
A. All completed reports are saved on AFX servers for 12 months. If needed, we can set specific account requirements to retain the reports for a longer duration.

Q. Can you provide updates to previously completed reports?
A. Clients often need updates on previously ordered reports. In those cases, AFX will offer discounted pricing on the “bring to date” reports.
